Coaching

The difference between a Consultant and a Coach is similar to the difference between a Travel Agent and a Tour Guide.  A Travel Agent “sends you” to places that many times they have only seen pictures of, heard or perhaps just read about.  A Tour Guide “takes you” to places that that they have been many times before!  Dan has personally taken what many would consider a not so glamorous profession and not only survived, but thrived through 5 economic downturns.  He recently sold a business that was not just a successful service business; it was one of the most dominate and well respected service business in the nation.

Planning

When Dan meets with a potential client, he sometimes has to help them “rediscover” the reason why they got into business in the first place. Sometimes you get so busy working “in your business” that you forget that very important reason!  Dan helps “flush out” (from his plumbing days) your one, three and five year goals for your business and your life - because most small business’s involve both!  By planning properly, you can create a marketable product or idea, teach others how to replicate it,then you must move on to what you do best - creating the next product or idea!

Speaking & Workshops

Of all things Dan loves doing, he likes public speaking the best!  He has gained his greatest satisfaction from teaching and growing others. He addresses and involves his audience as if they were having a one-on-one conversation.  Dan tries to rediscover the lost art of story-telling. His talks are both humorous and touching. Do not be surprised if you find yourself riding an emotional roller coaster, laughing one minute and weeping another! An effective speaker can help “direct & empower” a team toward a common goal. Everyone in the room hears the same message but then they will take away what they needed to hear most. Dan is available for 1 hour, half or full day events as well as weekend retreats.
